The IWS Türkiye is inviting national and international watercolor artists to participate the international juried contest. The aim of this competition; is to

ensure that artists who live with the magic of watercolor present their works

to the world with love, peace and tolerance despite the rapidly changing living conditions.

ELIGIBILITY

Participation for all artists over the age of 18 who accept the terms and conditions available hereunder;

1. The theme is your choice and original artworks in watercolor on  paper.

2.  The artworks must be painted by the artists themselves and should not be

derived from photos or artworks of other artists.

3. Each artist can submit up to 3 artworks but each of them with 3 different

Concepts  (landscape, portrait and flowers or animals)

PARTICIPATION RULES

*The application process involves sending an email to iwsturkey15@gmail.com with attached Registration Form and digital reproductions (photos).

(The artworks will be photographed professionally and originally with the following

JPG or TIFF format in the original color profile of the artwork and without any additional processing of the file; resolution 300 pix/inch, and image size at least 20 cm on the long side.

Please send the image correctly and name the file in English as follows:

“Country_ ArtistName _PictureName_Size”,

e.g. “Türkiye_AliKaplan_Sand_76x56”)

*Participation fee: Payment for Well-printed copies and exhibition expenses

is 20 USD for your each artwork (all bank charges

at the side of participant)

Bank account number will be sent to your mail address

NOTE : Sending the original artworks is not needed.

Payment for the well-printed copies and exhibition expenses.

Turkish citizens’ participation is 250 TL.

EXHIBITION :

The well-printed copies of selected artworks will be exhibited at a Gallery in Izmir.

Online Exhibition : All submitted works of art will be displayed in an online exhibition.

All selected artists will receive an international online certificate.

CONTEST : All sending artworks will have chance for the jury’s

selection and the results announcement  are on
